Staff takes part in the annual United Way of the Capital Region’s Day of Caring.
LEMOYNE, PA. (September 7, 2012) – Gunn Mowery employees volunteered for the United Way of the Capital Region’s annual Day of Caring today at Messiah Lifeways, a non-profit adult community-living organization based in Mechanicsburg.
Founded by the Brethren in Christ Church, Messiah Lifeways is a ministry that invites client and business partners to create an effective team that responsibly exercises prudent stewardship, enhances the lives of older adults and embraces Christ-like love as the model and vision for service.
Gunn Mowery employees aided the organization during its preparation for its annual Fall Festival, an event that provides food, music and fun-filled for community members, families and other individuals on September 9, 2012. Employees unloaded and stacked books, coordinated the set-up of tables and chairs and provided support for other auxiliary components.
